Thank for your assistance, it's been investigated by the bank who gave me the money back while they investigated it but eventually took it back. I'll pursue it with the people you've advised but it has worn me down and I feel I'm hitting my head again a brick wall. I'll pursue it a little longer with your suggestions, thanks for your help 😊

We went to the Marshalls Skoda, in Bedford, dealer in March and test drove a Karoq, I was in two minds whether to buy it as it was higher mileage than what I wanted. Karl told me me that he'd hold it for me if I put a £500 deposit on it for now. I signed his tablet that was thoughtfully zoomed in to make it easier for me (so I thought!). Next day I phoned to say I didn't want it and I was told the deposit was nonrefundable which obviously hadn't been mentioned the day before. I now realise the tablet was zoomed in to stop me seeing any terms or conditions rather than for my benefit. I phoned the manager to complain and he said "the terms and conditions are all over the website". I looked and couldn't find any mention in any obvious place or anywhere at all. I went to Wings in Peterborough, totally different experience, no conning and genuine honest salesmanship. Couldn't do enough for me. When it's time to change my Karoq I will be going to Wings and avoiding Bedford for some reason as im £500 light!!! Edited 5 min by FetchUK Quote
