I did go to local agent and had a scan done and all the fault codes came up pointing to speed sensors rear tail light etc. Now getting sensors disconnected and then see if the fault codes come up. Interesting all the fault codes say the fault is intermittent. Skoda NZ cannot supply any parts for the ABS system.

yes .. I have the same problem with the ABS system. My workshop cannot get the codes but has checked all the wiring and power to the module is OK. But resistance was found when the motor connectors where checked .I have tried to source a new/2nd hand abs module with the part # supplied But nothing available in New Zealand or Australia so far. The other thing I found out on my 2009 Mk2 is the value has dropped to a loss of 4000NZD per year since I have owned this car. It has only done 144000KLm. So that means the car is not worth more than 4000$ Is it worth spending large sums of money on it with NO resale value and every time it is serviced it costing about 1000$ because of other faults found. The main question is can a module from a different model Skoda be fitted and re configured at a better cost. Also I have been quoted 4150.00 + 15% tax for labour only to remove and a time of 5.5 hours that is $948.75 Plus parts Plus refitting and all the other costs as required. help please. Thankyou.
