Hi Guys, I am in need of some advice on this topic. I blew the front speakers on my 2017 Octavia MK5. I need to replace them and I bought a JBL Stage3 607C speaker kit complete with crossovers and tweeters that should fit into the door as a replacement. Sofar so good. Here comes the question: when I am hooking up the speakers & tweeter to the cross over, will I only use the "Woofer connector" at the bottom of the door? Meaning, the woofer connector is attached to the cross over which then splits the signal to the woofer and the tweeters? If that is the case, what will I do with the factory connector that was originally meant for the tweeters? Is this connector no longer needed? I wish there was a tuturial specific to a VAG car for this... or at least some pictures. Thanks for any advice in advance!
