Did the conversion today, must say easy peezy. One removing the airbag without power was a challenge... But new steering wheel mounted and everything works except for the travel assist. Have to dig into that with coding the adapter. Will make some pictures tomorrow. Very happy with all the help from here!

Hi Zacko, thx for the reply. Seems like a decent fix. One question, do you have pictures where either of these locations are in the car? The Gateway connector or by rewiring the connector of the steering column electronics control unit (J527).

Is this LIN adapter plug and play or do you need anything extra to code it. Thx for the reply!
