  1. Yeah I later learned this and only was told after I purchased the vehicle that the owner said the previous owner mentioned it had a dpf delete whether it has or not I don't know as iv not taken it to the garage
  2. After I bought the car presume the dealer new as it was a part exchange
  3. I haven't had a MOT as I've only had it 6 months to recently find out it had a dpf delete and the dealership did an MOT before I bought it
  4. No but the car has apparently had dpf delete from what I was told but the white smoke is literally after it cranks over a few times then goes away and doesn't do it again even after I stopped and started again
  5. Yeah after cranking over few times after work it will kick out some smoke but then no smoke once running white smoke presumably air lock or something going on with fuelling system maybe fuel filter ?
  6. Not sure what explains the trouble starting every time I come to leave work after been sat there all day, but fine every morning when left when home at 4:40pm till the next morning at 6:10am when I leave for work
  7. Ouch expensive change then
  8. By the way if the glow plugs need changing are they straight glow plugs or does one of them have a sensor on?
  9. I didn't see any stamps when I took the photo I'll check soon, also the shock absorbers I changed was the original that came out of factory so wouldn't surprise me if the battery was too
  10. Also the warm start is only after iv driven to work in the morning about 6 miles then parked up and left all day till I leave at home time around 4pm that's when I have issues starting the car
  11. I also looked through service history and glow plugs haven't been changed in the last 4 years maybe that ?
  12. I did have a slight drip leak from the fuel return pipe that had to be tightened up at garage and stopped the leak
  13. Yeah it's stop start this is my battery
  14. Thank you for replying, I'll have a check soon in the battery age and the diagnostics machine I have is a bi directional one that gives me the option to monitor battery health not sure if it's showing overall battery condition , also noticed the car turns over a few times to start if the cars been sat in the sun all day , no problems from cold starts in the morning so not sure if this is related to the battery I drive 175 miles a week
  15. No but battery readings while running doesn't drop below 14 volts
  16. Worth changing leveling arm and battery ? I don't think my green arm should be twisted or bent though My battery is running at 14.5vlts to 15vlts when I have the diagnostic machine reading the battery when cars running
  17. Have you plugged your car into a diagnostic machine that can monitor battery live data , this will show current voltage and if it's dropping which could indicate battery or even alternator issues
  18. Hi guys got this error code using launch pro diagnostic machine , I have a Octavia vRS MK3 2014 only has 2 leveling sensors both in passenger side , I looked at the front passenger and seen the green leveling arm twisted could this be the reason why it throwing up the headlight range code , I do have the part but not sure if it should be coded in or not
  19. Hi everyone not sure if this forum is still active, however I have this AFS error on my dash , been told so many different things, ended up buying daytime running light module even though the lights work, also bought front leveling sensor but then when I plugged my diagnostic machine in it says headlight range control module error so bought won't one of these with same part number plugged it in then it threw more error codes up so had to replace the old one back in to only give me the one error code.... So yeah I'm really confused what else it could be please help
