  1. hey Marco, I know it was some time ago, but I have a prelift 2015 mk3 and wanted to do this upgrade, I ordered this part https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5e0863289a9b9-cover-skoda-43174.html 5E0 863 289 A and it seems to go to high when I try to put it on, did you have to cut plastic to fit the cover? Also for everyone to know, the buttons for heated rear seats don't fit from prelift, they changed them slightly, reshaped, let's say ðŸĪŠ So i'm also wondering if connectors will fit, but I guess there was no option to have USB in the back in pre lift?
  2. Hey guys, I'm planning at some point to add heated windshield to my mk3 Octavia 2015, but I already have webasto or parking heater, I know it's exaggeration to have both :) I have a hard time to find the right panel, with both buttons like on a photo, anyone know part number, or know where to buy it? Also, does anyone know, if I would be able to find correct panel, can I install it already without yet having windshield or would I need to again disassemble the panel when installing heated windshield? Thanks
  3. Hey Carlston, thanks a lot, I also found this topic where many additional information is provided https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/515079-help-with-vrs-fl-estate-rear-spring-rates-after-retrofits-please/ Thanks to the photo of red Octavia I'm convinced for the Eibach R19953 - 342mm/11,8mm in the rear :) Though I know that he has 19" probably In regards to ordering everything as I just spend some $$$ on adding few ponys, I will probably order the suspension in parts this and next month, so beside above I additionally need: 112mm rear shock absorber buffers 5Q0511357J https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/5q0511357j?supplier%5B%5D=101 Upper underlay for rear spring 5Q0512149A https://www.autodoc.co.uk/topran/16203018 Lower underlay for rear spring 5Q0512297D https://www.autodoc.co.uk/topran/16203019 SACHS 803 024 Repair kit, suspension strut https://www.autodoc.co.uk/sachs/7883824?search=SACHS+Repair+kit%2C+suspension+strut+%28803+024%29 anything else? :)
  4. Ok, many thanks, Carlston and all, for all the replies To sum up everything :) I think the best is to compare to most beloved by most people Eibech Pro Kit, that lands in most MQB cars when someone wants to go lower, but it's too low for me, as my wife will also use car and overall it's an estate not a Formula 1, I want normal driveability Length [mm] / Wire Diameter [mm] (more = stiffer?) Standard Ride height of non-RS Octavia seems to be: Front axle - 314-317mm / 12mm Rear axle - 367-370mm / 11,5-11,8mm EIBACH Pro-Kit (should lower non-RS around ~60mm and RS ~30-40mm) Front axle two options - 253mm/11,5mm or 254mm/11,8mm Rear axle - 296mm/13,5mm What's weird about pro-kit is the wire diameter of the front axle(checked on a few pages), they left it the same or a bit stiffer than standard... and none of the other rear spring seems to be as hard as those on pro-kit. Other options if, like me, you're looking for something in between, so ~-30mm from standard ride height, please remember that I'm looking for 4x4 fitting springs, which gives fewer options on the back, I suppose + DSG giving less on the front also. Fron Axle Eibach R19200 - 287mm/11,5mm Eibach R19488 - 272mm / 12,3mm KYB RA4127 - 285mm / 12,5mm - this still looks best as a replacement for the front axle KYB RA4126 - 278 mm / 12,2mm Rear Axle Eibach R19953 - 342mm/11,8mm Eibach R16554 - 335mm/11,5mm KYB RA5885 - 346mm / 12mm Regarding shocks: Bilestin B8 Schock numbers would be Bilstein B8 Sport shock absorber Code: 35-229919 55mm (different for 50mm) Bilstein B8 Sport shock absorber Code: 24-229937 - here the diameter isn't important if I got it right. Also, I'm not a professional or mechanic, so I can't assure that all the above parts will fit.
  5. It's not like I don't want to, but my perfect lowering spring should do ca. -30mm front and ca. -35mm rear :) and as Eibachs R19200 should do exactly that on the front and that's great for the rear I would just prefer EIBACH R16554 better :) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/eibach/18259202?search=EIBACH+Coil+spring+%28R16554%29 They seem to be the same replacement as R19200 "sold to replace 5 springs including 5Q0411105HC"
  6. still can't edit, so sorry for replying to myself. I found yet one another, but last spring that would also give around 30mm lowered suspension vs standard and it seems to be the same stiffness as the current spring https://www.autodoc.co.uk/eibach/18259209
  7. Oh man, thank you so much for all the replies again, so I'm getting pretty sure regarding the front spring, as it seems to be stiffer than my current and with perfect ride hight(as per screenshot from KYB) Also RA4127 is a replacement for 5Q0411105DJ, 5Q0411105DK, 5Q0411105HE, 5Q0411105HF For the rear I think you're right, Eibech would be softer as diameter is 11,5mm vs 11,8mm, and it's pretty weird for me that they list most FWD cars for it and only one 4x4 EIBACH R16554 cars: 2.0 TDI / TDI RS 4x4, Year of manufacture 05.2013 - 10.2020, 1968 ccm, 184 HP 2.0 TDI RS, Year of manufacture 05.2013 - ..., 1968 ccm, 184 HP 2.0 TSI RS, Year of manufacture 11.2012 - ..., 1984 ccm, 220 HP 2.0 TSI RS, Year of manufacture 05.2015 - ..., 1984 ccm, 230 HP 2.0 TSI RS, Year of manufacture 02.2017 - ..., 1984 ccm, 245 HP So am I getting it right for the front? And regardless all above, will they both fit in my car? KYB K-Flex RA4127 and EIBACH R16554? I think currently my ride height from the wheel is from around 50-60mm rear 60-70mm So even with softer spring in the rear I would still be happy with EIBACH R16554 I think, if it fits.
  8. Ahhh, when I press edit it says can't find that topic... So I think there is a perfect solution for me, but would springs from 2.0 TDI RS 4x4 fit to my car? KYB K-Flex RA4127 - front axle - 285mm EIBACH R16554 - rear axle - 335mm
  9. Sorry for talking to myself, but my edit option disappeared... So, for me perfect would be to go 30-35mm lower on back and front, but it seems non-existent? Octavia MK3 hatchback 1.8TSI 180PS front wheel drive DSG Front springs (standard ride height) 5Q0411105GL - 314mm Front springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0411105HC – 288mm Rear springs (standard ride height) 5Q0511115E – 365mm Rear springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0511115Q – 335mm Octavia MK3 hatchback 2.0TDI 184PS front wheel drive manual gearbox Front springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0411105HD – 278mm Rear springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0511115Q – 332-335mm Octavia MK3 hatchback 2.0TDI 184PS front wheel drive DSG Front springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0411105HF - 281-285mm Rear springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0511115Q – 332-335mm Octavia MK3 hatchback 2.0TDI 184PS 4x4 DSG Front springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0411105HF – 285mm Rear springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0511115S – 340mm Octavia MK3 estate 1.8TSI 180PS front wheel drive DSG Front springs (standard ride height) 5Q0411105GL – 314-317mm Rear springs (standard ride height) 5Q0511115G – 370mm Octavia MK3 estate 1.8TSI 180PS 4x4 DSG Front springs (standard ride height) 5Q0411105GL - 314-317mm Rear springs (standard ride height) 5Q0511115G – 370mm Octavia MK3 estate 2.0TDI 184PS 4x4 DSG Front springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0411105HF 281-285mm Rear springs (lowered ride height) 5Q0511115AA – 346mm
  10. Ok, me stupido EDIT: KYB seems to be the best in showing spring length, there is also autodoc So the front would go lower about 40mm and back only 25mm? Are the lengths of current springs on a screenshot from KYB ok? KYB 278mm/346 mm Autodoc is showing Eibech pro kit front axle - 253 or 254mm rear axle - 296mm EIBACH Sportline from axle - 255mm rear axle - 281mm
  11. Thanks a lot, ok to sum up, as I'm still a bit unsure when comparing my ride height vs RS the 20mm mentioned below will be enough? I think it's more like 25-30mm? "Rs are only 20mm lower. You need the option code for rs sports suspension or just call a dealer and ask to look the part up and order." So I guess this RS Sport version would go an additional 10mm lower? I can understand that those 2 will be 20mm lower from current? Lowered ride height front springs 5Q0411105HD (Octavia MK3 hatchback 2.0TDI 184PS front wheel drive manual gearbox) - is it ok to get this from FWD? Also 100 years ago diesel engines were a bit heavier from petrol ones? Bilstein 37-293192 Kilen 23133 (same as Lesjofors 4085734) KYB RA4126 Lesjofors 4085734 (same as Kilen 23133) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/5q0411105hd?supplier%5B%5D=246&supplier%5B%5D=85&supplier%5B%5D=253&supplier%5B%5D=16 Lowered ride height rear springs 5Q0511115AA (Octavia MK3 estate 2.0TDI 184PS 4x4 DSG) Bilstein 36-301904 Kilen 63145 (same as Lesjofors 4285746) KYB RA5885 Lesjofors 4285746 (same as Kilen 63145) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/5q0511115aa?supplier%5B%5D=246&supplier%5B%5D=16&supplier%5B%5D=253&supplier%5B%5D=85 Maybe this will help someone, Bilestin B8 Schock numbers would be Bilstein B8 Sport shock absorber Code: 35-229919 55mm (different for 50mm) Bilstein B8 Sport shock absorber Code: 24-229937 - here the diameter isn't important if I got it right. With green, I marked the setup that seems ok as a replacement for my stock suspension for RS one.
  12. Thanks again for reply! I found some photos of my current suspension when I was changing wheels.
  13. Omg guys, thank you all for such comprehensive replies, you're awesome, happy Easter âĪïļðŸ‡ I regards to my car, unfortunately despite being pretty maxed our version it doesn't have DCC which I would love to install, but nobody in my area seems to have knowledge how to do it. I have mode button, but no DCC. Full specs are 1.8TSI CJSB DSG DQ250 4x4 haldex 5gen I just checked diameter of shocks 55mm Also adding kg for axels 10% stiffer sounds great 👍 P. S. Such springs would suit better with Bilstein B6 or B8 or maybe some other recommendation?
  14. Hello, I'm the owner of 2015 Octavia III 1.8tsi 180HP(currently 360HP)4x4, this is non RS version. I would like to fit RS springs to it (I don't want eibach pro kit, to low), could anyone help which springs I should buy? I would like the lowest for RS there was. Attached photos are of mine, very high sitting Skoda and a guy that owns an RS on OEM springs, that seems perfect for me.
