  1. I had the same issue in my 2004 1.2 HTP. The real problem was the actual connector on the steering pump. It was corroded very much, so I advise to check that Power and communication as well! Clean with contact spray and plug-unplog more times, to get some friction on the metal contacts..... if that solves for a short period, but problem came back, I advise you to change the complete connector to new ones.... or just the metal contact pins inside... You can locate them from the fog light side. Also help in this topic: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/339515-power-steering-pump-change/
  2. I don't know how did you bleed, but I have changed the servo pump and needed a bleeding as well. Try filling up the res and then with ignition ON, but motor not running! steer from full left to full right, and repeat 3 times. Then check the pump res, to see fluid level.... and fill up if needed. I could imagine that a VCDS reset could help to set default sensor values for the new rack.
  3. Hy everybody, I am Peter from Gyor. Electrical Engineer and Researcher. Currently owning a Fabia MK1 1.2 HTP.... motor rebuild already done. 370k km in the family, and Now fresh and ready to continue the endeavor. Also looking for a 2015 Octavia Scout.... but we will see.
