Thanks for the replies,I'll check them,it's very strange,if I do a short journey and the car hasn't hot up to full temperature it's fine,but if it's up to temperature every time I stop now at a shop etc,when I get back in turn the key to start it tries to turn over but sound like the battery is flat,turn the key off and leave for few seconds it's OK,or if I've been on a gd run and park the car up,when I come to it after few hrs it's fine,it's like a heat seizure or something.

Hi hopefully someone can help,I've a skoda octavia vrs 2011 deisal,car done 145k miles,full service history,after I've used the car and it's run fine,sometimes if I stop at a garage or shop it struggles to start when I get back in,sounds like a flat battery,but leave it a few seconds and it flies over and starts,could it be the starter motor on it's way out ?
