I dont have map feature in my 2025 FL Octavia 10" infotainment. What would happen if I install this map update?

This sounds to me as a malfunction. I used to drive a superb mk4, and your description reminded me of a incident on a highway near Verona a year ago. Car just stopped switching gears (DSG), and I had to stop and restart the engine to make it work. Ended up in Skoda Italia (coincidentally it is in Verona) and they said gearbox was faulty and up for a change. This sounds like similar issue to me.

Ok, makes sense. My infotainment is 10inch though, not the new 13inch one. I didn't find a thread for FL versions , does anyone know if ma version is up to date? No problems, but Im missing some features like compass, so i thought maybe im due for an update.

I've got new Octavia FL, bought it less than a month ago. However, my sw version 0196 seems completely different than amy version mentioned here. Does anyone know is this super old or super new version?
