Hi Are you referring to the fact that the dipstick is near impossible to remove when cold? On my 2022 1.5 petrol I am afraid the yellow plastic grip is going to break, as it is so jammed in. However, once removed in can be replaced and removed easily, very odd. Geoff
  2. In the manual under Function restrictions it states "the system can also recognize a vehicle as a single-lane means of transport" Any one have any idea what they are referring to? I do find the user manual to be less than helpful when trying to understand the operation of some of the systems. Geoff
  3. On my 2022 Karoq, the cut out was marked on the inside of the rear bumper. It was a rectangle of slightly raised plastic.
  4. Thanks for that. It does seem strange that as I pass other traffic signs the triangle appears for a few hundred yards. I just can't see what the sign is. Geoff
  5. Hi I have 2022 SportLine, which I believe has traffic sign recognition. On my Navigation screen the current speed limit is shown towards the top right corner of screen and when I pass another sign it appears to be hidden behind the speed limit sign. I can see the edge of the red triangle behind the red circle. Is this normal, or can I get the screen to show me both? Geoff
  6. Hi I don't think you need any additional bolts. The brackets are secured using nuts removed from the bonnet fixings. Geoff
  7. Hi Rather than waiting for winter I would think a misted screen would be a good test. A couple of warm damp towels on top of the dash board with all doors and windows shut should get it misted up for you to determine if it is working. Or does it need very low temperatures to operate? Geoff
  8. Hi I notice that most of the kits include a strap/tether/cord with eyelets. Does anyone the purpose of this? Geoff
  9. I have just noticed the two blue icons, bottom right hand corner. They couldn't even get the right description to go with each. Geoff
  10. No. I had seen that graphic before. I have been unable to identify the icon. Perhaps a visit to a dealer, on second thoughts I won't bother. Geoff
  11. Hi Mine was a white car inside a revolving white circle. There is not an image of it in either of the manuals. Geoff
  12. Hi I am sure you have the struts upside down. The rod seal needs to be kept lubricated to seal effectively, this can only be achieved if the rod is at the bottom. Geoff
  13. Hi This was a single car, head-on. I did not have any traffic in front and it stayed on all the way home, about six miles. Not seen it since. Geoff
  14. Hi Berisford Thanks for that, it certainly looked like a download icon. Why Skoda don't show it in either manual is anyone's guess. I have just been out in the car again and no sign of it??? Geoff
  15. Hi, I am new here having just got a 2022 Karoq 1.5 Sportline. I have just driven home and all the while I was driving, there was an icon at the top of the Virtual dash. It was white and depicted a car(end on) inside a constantly rotating white circle. Similar to a downloading icon on a PC. I can't find it either in the manual of the online manual. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Geoff
