Sat Nav update

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My sat nav needs updating. I have downloaded the new file to a USB but the Manual does not show how to do it.

Any help will be awesome.

Just connect USB flash and live it there, it needs time to update and it is done silently in the background. After some time, check the navigation data base version number in System Info, when you se new version that you have on your USB, it is done.

Hi.

I have 2022 Sportline Karoq, had it a year or so. Just recently it keeps on telling me that I have 'Updates'. I click OK and get the message ' Unable to Start Background System Services' then nothing.

I have tried the method above to update the sat nav. Downloaded and unzipped to an empty formatted 64GB USB. Connected to car via one of the type C sockets, nothing!!!!

Do I have to subscribe to one of Skoda's plans?

The net says updates are free via the E.Sim.

I really don't have a clue about these things and my nearest dealer is 60 miles away.

Any help would be appreciated.

Geoff
