  1. you know what site could i use to get oem/oem quility parts for cheap and ship it to isreal. also could you please tell me what parts should i replace while im doing the timing chain and valve head gasket? is it all like the menuals from erWIN states? p.s. do you know where could i find the full maintenance schedules for my car? like how often to replace X fluid/parts? thanks from the past!
  2. it seems to be controlled kinda seperetly because there is not need for driver switch/passenger switch to be able to control the passenger window. if one of them work you can control the window. it seems to loose some fonctunality thats it.
  3. hi guys. my passenger window switch got wet recently by a service guy and the switch got shorted so when it was connected the window will try to go down on it's own. I tried to disassemble the switch and clean the corrosion off. unfortunately it did not work for me, the auto down problem was solved but i had no manual down feature and no auto up feature. had a spare broken switch from another fabia of the same model, tried to change the copper pad, the silicone pad, and the switch casing (what you pull/push to use the button) and it still had the same problem. I saw a guy on YouTube who tried to reverse engineer the switch the window regulator defrenciate auto up from manual up but the resistance it gives. if any of you know what is wrong with the switch please tell. I'm just curious to know how they designed it because I couldn't figure it out. P.S. serial number is: 5j0 867 435
  4. look at that monstrosity!!! I AM THE KING OF ORANGE PEEL!!!
  5. ill send you today my car pictures. be sure my hood is WAY worse then that
  6. could i just connect the new part with the old tube then drive my car to my garage where i have the capacity to deal with unexpected issues?
  7. thanks! i had removed the wire clip like you advised and it was easy work!. i had a broken peace of the coupler inside the coolant tube and when i removed it, and it had left small plastic peaces inside the tude (like poweder). do you think i should remove and tube completely from the other end and flash it or just filing it with coolant and slushing it around then spill the coolant out with the broken peaces would be enough? (of course before installing the new part and everything).
  8. hi guys, ive noticed in the last days that i have a coolant leak near my radiator. when i tried to figure out where it comes from (if the problem is with the cooling tube or with part) i accidently broke a small part of my radiator coupler part number: 500 122 291E unfortunately i was not wise enough to do it at a place where i have all of my tools and now i am planning on driving to my house to bring the tools i have (non specalized tool). it appears like an easy repair by all standards, can you confirm it/tell me what problems can a raise when making the repair? ill also need to extract the broken peace out of the coolant tube/cut it and short fit it for now until ill get the car for an appropriate time and place for a full on repair. technical data: broken part number - 500 122 291E engine type - 1,6/77 kW MPI engine tommrow ill upload some pictures
  9. thanks everyone. it would make sense that the problem had been cause by one wheel touching the ground. when i finished working the the driver side i put the wheel on and lowered the car so that's probably why i have a bruise on my face now (got the wheel hub to hit my face when i tried to mount it into steering joint lol)
  10. when i say coupling rod i mean part number 7 on the diagram that i linked. also i did not change the cv joint it self. i replaced the protactive dust boot, that way i would reserve the cv joint for longer
  11. hi, today i change the cv axle boot because they had tears. when i removed the tie rod and steering joint (by the 3 bolts) i noticed that the passenger side wheel hub tend to pull to one side (wither left or right). when i inspected that the behavior is cause by the coupling rod i wondered if it is normal. at the driver side the coupling rod did not cause this problem and i could move the struts with wheel hub without any resistance. it seems that the coupling rod have tension or something and that is the reason why it happened. is this behivior normal? if yes/not then why only the passenger side is like this and not both? linked below the diagrams. best regards.
  12. thanks again pete. i just re-read the thread now and understood what i'd have to do to order the right parts. have a nice day :)
  13. thanks! just got time to re-read the thread thoroughly and i just realized that as you said, ivory or onyx are color names that i can find on google without the correlation to fabia's. i guess mine got onyx+silver touches at trims. thanks!
  14. Thanks a lot Pete! U will do that for the parts that i am replacing. Some parts unfortunately are missing entirely from my car so i have to guess 2hich one are they, that's why i asked.
  15. I am replacing a number of interior parts. Like center console storage, vents ext. My model is: fabia mk2 2009 sport 105 hp 77kw 5s manual Vin number: Tmbcd65jxa3061426 Ill drop the car interior photos bellow and faded color code from trunk
