Instruments distance impulsive number
I think thats the pin for the whole module becouse immob is a part of that cluster try logging in with it and than try changing the settings

Instruments distance impulsive number
If i remember right to make any changes to the instrument cluster u need a car specific code that can be found in the owners manual. There is some way to pull it with vcds but i never had to do it so i cant help u with that, second option is go to a dealer and pay them to get it. When u get the code u go in the login menu on the right enter the code, and than go and make changes. Also if it says that code is invalid put a zero eather before or after the code.

Engine enters limp mode
Ok but what did u mean by passager carpet is wet? My guess is if ecu is getting wet it wudnt run at all. This is a long shot but does that engine have a ditributor? Becouse my first mk1 was aee had cracked distributor cap and was also runing rugh full of oil from leaking valve cover gasket and it also didnt like the rain wudnt shut down but u culd feel loss of power.

Cooling problem 1.6 75kw bfq
I solved no heating issue without reving the engine to hell. After tearing the whole car multiple times apart it had 2 thermostats 1 normal for bfq and one for avu (apperenty u can fit avu thermostat tight on coolant return line of the watterpump) U def shudnt do this. Anyway car runs great now and has heating.

Engine enters limp mode
U rly shuld get the car scaned to see what errors its getting. With that beeing said u can do some basic inexpensive stuff like cleaning maf, trottlebody cleaning, replacing fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter. Ecu is right next to the wiperblade motors so i dont think its that. That is a seperate issue your heater core is prob leaking.

1.6 BFQ thermostat and operating temperature
i have the same overly complex engine 105-110 is perfectly normal for that engine it uses map controled thermostat. Switch to full heating or go full trottle of u want it to be 95-100. As for the fans kicking in randomly try changing the sensors one is in the middle of plastic housing on the right side of the block and the other one is on the lower right side of the radiator. 87c thermostat dosnt fit from what i figured out thats for avu engine code. Also dont use regular watter for coolant, heater core is prone to cloging and u need to take out the whole dash to change it. If ur changing sparkplugs change the leads aswell so u dont have to take off/pay someone to take off the whole intake manifold 2x.

1.6 bfq rugh idle, lean engine code
Hello, i have issue with my octavia mk1 new o2 sesor cleaned maf, new plugs, new fuel pressure regulator. The car gets lean code from time to time, and on a cold start it runs not rly rugh more like light shaking(gets better as it warms up). I looked at vcds data and crank pos sensor is the only stuff that seams jumpy it jumps from 9° to 14° rapidly with ocasional dips to 6. So culd crank pos sens couse such behaviour? Or i need to keep looking? Only other code i have on a car is vhiecle speed sensor, dosnt use oil or coolant.

Cooling problem 1.6 75kw bfq
So the water culd not be affecting it? It shudnt be the wrong diameter i changed the whole set thermotech brand hoses and fittings that go to the heater core. Cabin is dry no bubbles in expansion thank thats whats confusing me. Last night i changed the wormclamps that came with the set to the ones from original hoses and it still leaks a bit. Im thinking of drilling the new thermostat to help with clearing air out is it a bad idia since its ele. controled?

Cooling problem 1.6 75kw bfq
Hello everyone i have a problem with my mk 1 ever since i had a garage change the belts, pump and thermostat 6 months ago. First it was no heat than i managed to get the heat working over 2k rpm after flushing the core. No collant missing at the time. I had a blown heatercore hose last week changed the hoses and the next morning inlet hose clamp came loose and it keeps loosing coolant( regular water now ) on that hose no matter how tight. Not smoking not overheating. Coolant and new thermostat already ordered. So my guesses so far are: Water affecting it since it has 105c thermostat? Coolant cap from 1.6 aee wich i think is 1.60 not a 1.40? Blown headgasket Hetercore( but it shown no pressure on garden hose ) Anyone have any other ideas or confirmation of the ones above?
