    Update – I got it working! I finally managed to get the maps working. I downloaded the vw package from here: Amundsen Mib2 Map Updates 2025/2026 - Audio, Electronics and Security - BRISKODA Extracted it using Winrar to my PC, then copied the maps folder to the root of the Skoda sd-card. I could’ve sworn I tried this exact method before – maybe I didn’t, or maybe the previous download was corrupted. Either way, this time it worked, and I’m not going to question it 😄 Appreciate all the replies and tips.

    I downloaded the ECE 2 and ECE 6. Both had only maps folder. I tried both WinRAR and 7zip.

    Yup. I tried to download from there as well, but it only gives me the maps folder. No metainfo.txt or info.txt.

    Makes sense, but I’d still like to get the built-in nav working. I don’t always want to connect my phone via USB just to use Android Auto, especially for short drives.

    Hi all, I own a 2020 Skoda Octavia with the Amundsen MIB2 navigation system. I'm trying to update my maps to ECE 2025 using the official Skoda Update Portal. I downloaded the package linked to my VIN, but the archive only contains the maps folder. There is no metainfo.txt or info.txt which means the car doesn't recognize the update when I insert the SD card. I have the original Skoda SD card with license and I'm following the standard process. Has anyone successfully updated to ECE 2025 on an Amundsen MIB2? Can anyone share a working archive or the required metainfo2.txt file for ECE 2025? Thanks in advance!
