Interestingly bmw 5/7 series and 5 series GT seats fit the Octavia as well, front only. I fitted a seat from the 5 series gt f07 which I believe is the same as a 7 series into my Octavia mk3 and it was actually a straight fit with the bolt patterns aligning perfectly and size in cabin fit perfectly. Only thing was that the seat is electric so I had to re wire all the motors to my own switches and then tap a new circuit at the fuse box to send power to the seat, but works and fits absolutely perfectly. Couldn’t get heated seats to work but I didn’t spend enough time working out the wiring for it, I think I could’ve if I tried the wiring more but didn’t have time and not that important to me.
