Hi folks, I'm shortly moving up to the highlands and although most of the roads I will regularly use are good roads there are plenty that may need a lot of care when using if it has been snowing. That being the case I was considering buying another set of wheels with winter tyres. My question is this, someone mentioned that as I have 19" wheels on the Kodiaq I should use 18" for the set with the winter tyres and although they could offer no real reason why, out with possibly thicker tyre walls, it got me wondering. Are they correct? Anyone have any recommendations for the tyres? Cheers.
