Little noises
Hi thank you for the reply!! It's done about 57k miles (about 4 with me) It did come with full service schedule, but I don't think they've ever had a gearbox service but I think I might get one soon to be safe, I did ask about it before and they said the same that it's a sealed unit so doesn't have a full schedule but recommended about 60k Think the issues I had just made me a bit paranoid so that reassuring helps Thanks again

Little noises
Hi guys, This is my first post here but I've used the site before for ideas but I can't seem to lock this down. I got my 2019 Skoda scala LE 1.5 automatic from a Skoda dealer near my parents (70 miles away) in October 2024. I've had bad luck with it in the 8 months since, someone hit it day 1 and then it was clipped while parked a few days later and then a stone meant I had to replace the full windscreen. Recently it went it with gear failure and I was charged about £1500 for a clutch replacement as it was 'wear and tear' so no warranty. The day I picked it up I took it back immediately for a rattle on startup which they immediately saw was the turbo waste gate (I think) and said this was nothing to worry about! Since then I've been paranoid about noises, when my car goes into eco mode I hear what I can only describe as a chuffing noise from the engine, this goes when not in eco/2 cylinder I also noticed my passenger side suspension seems to creak a lot at slow speeds, it had it's service in April and it said everything was fine. I also have what sounds like a slight rattle at higher speeds from somewhere in the engine bay but can only hear it when moving and it seems to quieten down with a passenger. The gear changes in low gear still feels a bit unusual! Not clunky really just around 3rd gear it seems to feel a bit different I'm just after some advice! Should I contact the local Skoda dealer (who replaced the clutch) or go to the one I bought from or is it nothing to worry about. It's hard to show people as the car has to be quiet with just one person in it (from what I can tell) This is my first automatic car and I really don't have the money for massive repairs just yet but if I need to, Id rather get it checked now if I'm not being paranoid
