Glad you enjoying the car. Agree on the ECO tyres......but we'll live with it for the mo and change for better down the line. My wife was the opposite.....only wanted the Phoenix Orange and unless we went for the Monte Carlo trim, they didn't have many available in UK without making a factory order, whereas this was already on a ship on its way from the factory.........and it also had a spare wheel included so there's a bonus lol. Loads of compliments on the colour though and it does stand-out from the row of greys, blue and blacks on the street as a bit of "sunshine". Having a garage to do your car in a real bonus though.......people laugh when I complain about it being sunny outside when I'm itching to get the wax out. Enjoy bud😁

How you enjoying the car? Wife has had this now for just over a month (1.0tsi 95 Design 5sp)....came from an MG3 Nav Exc. First Skoda she has owned and absolutely loves the car. We, like others possibly, watched loads of reviews and in all honesty the car has met all our expectations positively. Whilst it doesn't have the 6th gear that the 116 version has, we really don't do lots of extended M/way driving and in all honesty on the 200 mile journey back from picking the car up......we really didn't feel the need to look for a 6th gear.....its just so quiet and economical in any case. Fuel economy is high 50's,, gears are slick & positive when changing, ride comfort faultless and the car just feels like total VW Group "quality" similar to my Touran but without the price-tag! I do detail my cars regularly and whilst the plastic aero trims are not to everyone's taste, it does cut down on cleaning time lol.

Ordered a new Phoenix Orange (wife loves the colour) 1.0tsi (95ps) Design for collection in next month or so (Got it well below list price at a few quid over £19k with 2 yr Service Plan & Spare Wheel Kit). Reviews on the car seem to rate it very highly and whilst I'm used to the VW range, I'm hoping the Skoda isn't far off the same quality. Will update with pics.
