  2. We've tried changing the g to an H however same problem
  3. Probably got the worst luck ever the data stick that has the cars specs engine code etc found it everything is readable apart from you guessed it the 3 letter gearbox code Any suggestions on how or where i can find this gearbox box code the original gearbox seems to have been replaced
  4. Just a quick update Dsg mechtronic number is 0gc927711h from what I can see this doesn't have a pressue control solenoid D/4 however the 0gc927711g does have it From vcds the hardware number for the mech is 0gc927711g however the one that was in the car was 0gc927711h So I'm thinking the person before either put the wrong one in or the mechtronic is faulty as I've had the mech coded to the car updated flashed etc the software that was currently on it was for the 0gc927711g but the mechtronic was 0gc927711h so I even tried the software for both with no luck As for mechtronic no one really offers warranty/returns if the mechtronic is faulty or for whatever reason it needs to returned Now I'm at point that im either going to have to buy a full gearbox or see if i can source a mechtronic from a trusted place that accepts returns
  5. It's a dq381 2018 skoda superb not too sure if it has wet clutch
  6. https://youtu.be/DBdbBGhxrtU?si=Zi-GQOaYxpQXfjeI I followed this video to fill the gearbox oil after receiving the mechtronic back Like I said it was done all following the video it's not the first time me doing a dsg oil change Quick recap it was coming up with p271700 pressure control solenoid d intermittent it would stall when put into d/r stay started in p/n I removed mechtronic to send it off to be tested They said it was fully working I asked for unit back they ignored me for 2 days and then rang saying it maybe a software issue After asking around everyone told me to not to go forward with the repair for £502 as it didn't make sense Recived mechtronic back with 4 loose screws and bit of dirt on it Cleaned up mechtronic tightened all the screws and installed back into car Started car to see if I fitted it right the wheels started moving and codes gone then after filling oil codes came back and car started to stall like before me doing touching anything Took oil back out it doesn't stall and p0c2900 code coming up but comes and goes That's where I'm at now oil been drained the car starts and doesn't stall and tyres move Like I said before it was only started 5 to 10 seconds maybe even less
  7. If you read what i wrote at the beginning It was sent off for testing i was told the mechtronic is fully working after me asking for the mechtronic to be returned to me i was told it had a software issue and few days later of me asking for it to be sent back because I asked for it to be sent i would only have to pay £24 instead of £502 another issue is that software issues doesn't require parts to be fitted to the mechtronic that take 3 days to be delivered
  8. Hi right basically an update regarding the issues I was having Ecu testing came back and said mechtronic unit was fine however there's was an issue with the software of the mechtronic unit so I declined the repair like many people told me to do and installed the mectronic back in heres the wierd part that's confused me Without dsg oil it start and drives without stalling wheels turn no issue With gearbox oil same issue stalls with same code checked via vcds this time Pressure control solenoid 4 p271700 Took oil back out now it's not stalling again oil after removing was dirty/dark even though it was fresh oil after starting for roughly 15 no driving in park However there is another code that's come up that I've not seen on it before p0c2900 aux pump is this maybe because oil is low alos I did do a basic settings for the pump on vcds (Only started approx 5-15 second without oil and made sure dsg temp didn't get over 40 Honestly not really sure where to go from here
  9. Any recommendations on a good company for the repair/diagnosis
  10. Yes but now they want £502 for some software problem and they said it would take 3 days for replacement parts to arrive but I'm sure for software you wouldn't need to replace any hardware or am I wrong
  11. On their website it says 1-2 day they've had the mechatronic for 2 weeks now they damaged it/ in transit they told it had been damaged when I asked where and for more details it took them 6 days to reply and they kinda brushed it off saying it's only cosmetic damage 2 days ago told me the unit was working and ready to be sent back to me today they say software issue and to order the parts it would take 3 days but for software I'm pretty sure it wouldn't require hardware parts to be ordered 🤷‍♀️ Any suggestions on what the issue might be with the mechtronic or gearbox
  12. Hi i don't really know if this is the right place to post this but I'm new to this forum here goes Skoda superb 2017 2.0tdi fwd Basically it had an issue with the dsg/mechtronic it would stay started in P/N but stalls in D/R so plugged snap on obd in and came up with a code p271700 pressure control solenoid "D" intermittent so I've took out the mechtronic unit and sent it off to be tested firstly they broke it during shipping they said they kinda brushed it of like its no big deal and told me its cosmetic damage secondly they told me the mechtronic is fully working today they have said it has a software issue and needs to be updated or something along the lines for £500 it looks to have the dq381 mechtronic My question is are they trying to rip me off? Has anyone else had the same/similar problems? What could possibly be the issue? Thanks 😊 any help at all would be appreciated 👏
