  1. After weeks of trying everything - back to the dealers (no luck) - this chat room - Google - contacting Skoda directly finally got this........ So you have to PAY and buy a WiFi hotspot to get rid of the 'pop up' location setting warning AND to become the Primary User. Won't be doing that! Dave Thank you for your email. To become the Primary User in your Škoda vehicle, it is indeed necessary to purchase a Wi-Fi service. This is the only way to eliminate the persistent messages regarding your location and the prompt to become the Primary User. If you have further questions or need assistance with the purchase, please us know! We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please reply to this email. Please make a note of your case number 00301903. We also welcome you to contact us via: Email: [email protected] Phone: 00800 80 247 247 Website: www.skoda-auto.com
