  1. I just upgraded my OBD Eleven account from the free version to the "PRO".. I was a bit reluctant as this is €59.99 per year. But there are some things I need to do just one of which would cost me more (diagnostic scan at my local "VAGTech" (indy specialist) is £90.00....) I got to check-out and it asked "do you have a discount or promo code?" Hmm I wonder! A very brief look around the internet and came across a pointer.... Let's try this! "Enter code DRIFT for 25% store-wide discount!" And it worked! £41.97 instead of £53.00!

Thank you @aubrey ! Very kind offer.. I might well take you up on it! My original is a Varta, also AGM, so I guess I could just stick the newer one in and not tell it?

I have a 2016 Yeti with Stop/Start and Bi-Xenons etc. The Battery seems to be the original !! Well played Messrs/MienHerren Varta! The Stop-Start is ..... When it feels like it... Apart from that, no problem.. Now! I happen to have a Bosch battery of equal or better specs, bought BN and sealed from an auction, it is dated 2022... It has been in my "no-mod-cons" Citroen Berlingo. 1) Would using it in my little "tractor" have damaged it in any way? 2) Is there a "free" way to code it in to the Yeti? I have an OBD Eleven, but paying for a PRO subscription for a year, just to change a few digits, seems quite mad? 3) How much would a backstreet garage charge? And would they do it correctly? 4) How much a main-dealer or indie? I am in the UK (Essex). Cheers!
  4. And so.. I could feel that horrible sensation when some metal is giving-way and had resigned myself to some Dremel-action on these three Torx-head screws, which are only holding on a half-kilo plastic tray, and have no need to even be tight. And so I pulled a bit harder, and sure enough, the feeling of some metal giving up....... But! It was my bargain-bin bit-holder which had simply given up, being made of cheese. I put the DeWalt bit in a socket, and the screws came out with only a little encouragement! (I still think that the T40 is not totally snug, but do they do a 40.5? )
  5. Hmm! I have DeWalt T40 bits... And they are definitey a bit "muvver goose"!* I'll squirt some magic* on them and try again tomorrow! (I don't want to ruin the heads with them in!) * loose * GT40 or similar.. Or if really stuck, a mixture of TQF and Acetone.
  6. How did you get on? Any tips?

Hi guys, new owner here. I looked for a Haynes manual, but the only option was a digital version, which I assume also include a cheapo OBD11 dongle (?) Are they any good? Can I make changes via the OBD11?
  8. Thanks @Breezy_Pete ! I merely copied that pic from the OP. Where do I find a definitive diagram for my particular vehicle?
  9. From the link above: Colours are standard=amperage values
