Yesterday the car offered an over the air update 03U1_01 which I accepted. Is this for the car's electronics / engine etc, or is it for the Sat nav? This is the staus now. 2025 Karoq Sportline. I have just noticed the "Update Software" so I am more confused what software I have updated. I had assumed System meat the car's system, not the satnave.

I plugged my phone into the USB-c connector, selected media, set the phone to play Spotify music and the car will output random MP3 and MP4 files from the phone, but not the one actually playing on the phone. What am I doing wrong? I am not using the Blutooth connection as that is used for outputting Google maps from another phone to the car display. I have not yet found any reference to the USB c input in the handbook, although it probibly is there somewhere. 2025 Sportline 1.5.

My Karoq sportline 3000 miles, looses grip very easily when accelerating. If I am not careful I also can get transmition judder . I put it down to the Bridgeton tyres.

I tried the holding down the Lock button and that worked OK, until as suggested above, I stopped at a junction then on moving off the doors locked! With a car that is only 4 moths old I would not go down the OBD route. I assume they unlock in the event of an accident? Unlike Teslers.

Thanks, I suppose however it reapplies on next start up. I will give it a try. I have tried a quick press when driving off but seconds later the door lock again.

2025 sportsline. Can you stop the doors auto locking when driving off? I have looked though the menus but could not find anything. Presumably they will unlock in the event of an accident?

2025 Karoq 1.5TSI, auto, sportsline. I have not yet setup Skoda Connect (not seen any advantages), but do I need this to enable automatic software updates?

Is there a cheaper equivalent than the VW lubricant? On previous cars I have used Silicon oil spray from Lidl.

My 2025 Karoq Sportsline with Matrix headlights seems to turn them on too early, in the Light Settings menu the options are, Low / medium / high. Does low mean they come on later (when it is a bit darker) ? or is it the other way round. It was set from new as medium. In addition, twice now on damp mornings the headlights have come on in bright sunlight, the screen where I suppose the sensor is could have been covered with external condensation, I will check next time.

Thanks for the info, although I found today with only 400 miles on the clock and about to do a very long journey, the oil was so clean it was very difficult to see the level.
