  1. eye sensors? Where are they?
  2. Definitely not worth damaging the car I agree. What I meant about the pillar, look at the pic I attached. Running it there between the roof liner and the pillar cap, is the airbag zone. IMG20251204234131.heic
  3. Hmm, did you run it on the top part of the pillar? This I think is dangerous and blocks the airbags! Actually I don't think it will impair the force of the airbag, but the cable can become a projectile. For me I am looking for the "perfectionist" wat, with which I mean the safest and cleanest. ( And of course ending without a loose cable). Maybe there is someone on the forum who has a workshop manual, so I can check which panels are removable and in which way
  4. I'm also interested. I have always run the cable through the door rubbers and under the bpillar hatch, again under door rubbers to the c pillar, next to the glass, under the d pillar plastic and then under the headliner, through the rubber hose and under the plastic of the boot lid. Of course always avoiding blocking the airbag. This way the connector comes out right at the window. However this skoda is built very nicely and I am having difficulty finding some space to pry the cable in. For example under the b pillar airbag area, also at the c pillar, no way I can remove the door rubbers to go behind the airbag...Everything is so tightly built
  5. I have my superb for 5 days and am having this problem as well. Started last night and now when I start the car it is looking for a profile for 3 minutes or so, then it reverts to guest. Meanwhile the app doesn't work. Seems like a stupid cloud problem. Not a good start
  6. Yeah I found it, might use that one. Expensive though.
  7. So I received my superb today. I see no option to put a phone mount anywhere.. the horror. The phone now slides around on the center console cover. I don't want to damage the screen, but don't see another spot
  8. Understood but I have multiple devices. So another one will we connected already
  9. Yeah I have seen this, I will check this as second option, but I am afraid it will block the screen
  10. Also my phone doesnt have wireless charging, I need a cable from the 12v. I do have apps running which need the GPS and it would be nice to have it so I can see it. I do NOT want to connect it through Android auto. I will just try when the car arrives
  11. thanks for your response! I can of course leave it in the compartment, I just like snapping the thing on this magnet and to see my notifications. I am not connecting it to the android auto, because I use an applepie mediabox. Also I am running some apps during driving, so it would be nice to see them. But come to think of it, it would be fine to put it in this box. Was just wondering.
  12. Hey guys, I am waiting on my new superb, but I was wondering if someone has some experience with a proper magnetic phone mount. Currently I am using something like this (in a Kia Ceed). I noticed there arent a lot of spots for a phone mount. Even if this thing fits, i think it will block the smart dials. Does anyone know if this hook system will work? Any other suggestions?
  13. Nothing to say here yet, just ordered my first skoda.
