    It was successfully retrofitted => https://forum.skodahome.cz/topic/132630-stahov%C3%A1n%C3%AD-oken-citigo/ My understanding is: Cable (2 or 3 lines in some versions) needs to be routed between the doors. Old driver's side single-controller has 6pin connector, passenger side 4pin connector. The dual version has 8pin on driver side +6pin on passenger side => so the new controllers necessary both for the driver + passenger. And new 8pin connector for the driver. The old 6pin from the driver can go to the new passenger version.
