  1. I'm curious to see the results once you’ve modified the suspension I have to ask again: Was my combination of STP Black Gold + Comfort Mat Raptor a good choice for the car floor?
  2. Okay, I have some comfort mat sound trap left - I guess that's perfect for the bottom part of the b pillar + I may add some alubutyl on the medal.
  3. No, B pillar is untouched. Is it really worth it?!
  4. I had this checked a few months ago, everything was fine. Could it be that I insulated it incorrectly? I insulated the vehicle floor with STP Black Gold + Comfort Mat Raptor. For the doors, I also used STP Black Gold + Comfort Mat Raptor on the outer sheet metal (I still had a few sheets left). On the inner sheet metal I only used STP Black Gold, and on the trim panel I applied some alubutyl in a few spots and then a 5 mm foam. Is water-resistant foam needed on the outer sheet metal instead of the Raptor? And for the trim panel, would a thicker foam be better instead of just 5 mm?
  5. Yea my superb already have the accustic windows at the front doors. Then it seems like I have to deal with the current sound level
  6. AMDFX started following noise insulation
  7. Hey everyone, I have a superb facelift from 2020 and I'm not happy with the tire noises - especially on bad roads or/and speed greater 100km/h. I’ve already done quite a bit of soundproofing: doors, floor (from the front footwell all the way to the spare wheel well), wheel arches behind the trunk trim, wheel arches from the outside (behind the fender liners), and I’m using foam-lined tires. It’s a little better now, but still far from really silent. What else can I do to improve the sound insulation? Any tips or specific areas you’d recommend focusing on? Thanks 🙂
