  1. Good grief - thanks for update and hope you get sorted soon!
  2. Interesting! There is no mention in the Skoda manual. When I first contacted support they were convinced I should be able to schedule charging by setting up "charging locations" in the MySkoda app. Which doesn't appear, at least for me. I am also going to be relying on a wifi socket. The annoying thing is that if you switch it off in the middle of charging the charging port shows red and the app says unable to detect charging status (so you can't see battery level and you can't restart charging without unplugging and plugging back in.
  3. Thank you! - good to know I'm not simply unable to find the option. Also good to know at least this is on their roadmap - my support email blankly stated that they had no plans to do anything. So strange that with an "updated charger" and a battery that can keep you going for all short trips they would not consider this important - especially if it was previously available - and given that you can already set departure times and preconditioning of the vehicle where climate control/windows are concerned.
  4. New (2025) Superb IV owner - generally delighted and able to drive almost all miles on pure electric power with basic 2kw mains cable. But there seem to be no way to schedule charging for cheap overnight electricity tariffs! Nor can you delay e.g. charge to 100% to just before departure time. Skoda support eventually agreed that this was not supported (as it is on all their EVs of course). You can stop and start charging and set charging limit from the app - why not schedule it? Yes, I can at least delay it to overnight with a timer socket - but I find it just unbelievable that this is what we have to rely on. Anyone else had this problem?
  5. I had a nightmare with the panoramic sunroof on my old Superb. It was blocked and disconnected hoses for both front and rear drains of the sunroof. Deterioration of the sunroof seal also let in more water and debris, exacerbating the problem. You can sometimes unblock the drains with compressed air or a bicycle brake cable and you can reconnect and zip tie the hoses to grommets if you can rip out the interior finish. No sunroof on new Superb!
