  1. Hello, theres something that is concerning with my Skoda octavia 2015 1.2 TSI. I have a CJZA engine. This is my VIN number: TMBJB9NE0F0039056. When I drive it can sometimes feel abit uneven and it feels like it jerks a little. This is most noticable when i drive on low RPM, around 1.2k - 1.5k. I got a OBD II reader and it appears that I have some cylinders misfiring. I pulled up the live datastream and looked at misfires per 1000 revolutions per cylinder and this is what i found out: At 2k+ RPM (Amount of misfires per 1000 rev.) Cylinder 1: Hardly any misfires, maybe up to 1 some times. Cylinder 2: 4-5 Cylinder 3: 2-3 Cylinder 4: maybe up towards 10. At 1.2-1.5k RPM (Amount of misfires per 1000. rev.) Cylinder 1: Similar Cylinder 2: 6-7 Cylinder 3: similar Cylinder 4: The worst ive seen is up to 26, but usually only goes up to around 10-15. Theres no engine light in the dashboard, and the car runs mostly pretty well except this jerking. I recently got all the spark-plugs changed when i had it in the shop for a service (oil change and regular stuff). I tried switching places of the coils to see if the problem moves, but its on the same cylinders. When the car is idling it is even and nice, and i can see no misfires. I have used STP injector cleaner run through an entire tank of gasoline with that in it, that didnt change anything. When i am crusing evenly in the 60-80 km/h range i hardly notice anything, and hardly get any misfire counters. Theres also this strange rythmic sound on the left side of the engine, i have attached a video where you can hear it. This sound is not always there, some times when i pop the hood and listen i cant hear it. If you need any more information to help me diagnose this problem, feel free to ask my any clarifying questions and i will answer to the best of my ability, I am not very experienced with cars but I am trying to learn 😊 I would like to thank anyone in advance for any help i get 🙏 d5afc47f-0e47-4f61-a0ec-96e966779e6c.mp4
  2. Oh my, that link transported me into wonderland. That is so useful. I found out that it was a M10x40 hexagon head bolt (https://www.lllparts.co.uk/product/WHT003853/hexagon-head-bolt-combi). Thanks so much for the help Breezy-Pete 😁 And thanks for the tip Paws4Thot, but I think I will replace them, to avoid getting dirt into my brakes as much as possible 😊
  3. Hello, I was hoping someone in here might know which kind of screws (no. 4 on the first picture, no. 9 on the second picture) for the dust shield i need? Considering it says replace after removal i would like to buy new screws. And i think this is the right configuration, the PR code for my brakes are 1KD. Which should be C38 - 15" brakes, so i believe this is the correct setup (second picture). Thank you in advance for any help! 🙏
  4. Greetings good people of BRISKODA-forum! I have recently bought a 2015 Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI, this is my second car 😄 I didn't do much on my own with my old car, but I would like to use this car as an opportunity to become a "hobby-mechanic" and learn to fix and maintain it myself as much as possible. Therefore I thought it would be a good idea to join this forum 😊 Hope to learn much here, and eventually contribute with my own knowledge (when I get it 😅).
