I checked my car door. I think the terminal wires must be connected to this large black module, but there are four small plugs on it. I'm not sure. From left to right, there are two thicker white wires connected to a black plug, but it looks like a power cord to me. It can't be this. The second one is a large white plug with a red cap, which is obviously not it. Then there is a small black plug with a small red cap. Is this it? Finally, there is this large blue plug.

To make it easier, I have uploaded a picture of my door control unit with the possible connectors numbered. [Please imagine the attached picture here with numbers on the connectors] Could you please take a look at the picture and tell me which number corresponds to the correct black connector I should use? I saw your edited reply, thanks! Just to confirm, I need to unplug this large blue-white connector, then connect the positive wire to Pin 1 and the negative wire to Pin 3, right? Also, do I need to do anything else regarding the coding?

My main questions are: 1. Does this mean I need to connect the positive or the negative wire from my new puddle light to this pin? 2. I only see two main connectors on my door control unit: one with a blue housing and another smaller one with red/white housing. Is T16C one of these? If so, which one?
