  1. How do you code in the battery?
  2. Our first port of call was a skoda garage.. They were absolutely useless , they had the car for over a week .. even showed them the codes that were coming up They said they couldn't find anything Only a possible oil leek under the engine.. Which they would charge 3500 and it may not be the cause ... in there words !
  3. We're try anything... Fortunately my brother in law is a mechanic so hes been doing the work for us But hes flummoxed by what it is too . Weve taken it to a few garages .. no one seems to know , it's so intermittent and doesn't stay in the memory , so isn't showing fault codes.. only the ones when where driving and if u pull over , turn engine off then restart, they dissappear and off you go .. till they come on again If it didn't keep losing power we'd drive it but as it is we cant trust it . Although yesterday only 3 lights came on once we changed abs sensor
  4. I dont think there was one , the mechanic plugged his machine in and said there were no codes coming up .. Literally do not know what to do next We did think it was all ok as drove it about last few days no problems .. no error messages .. Then this afternoon up come the messages.. Only 3 for a while , then as we slowed down the other 3 lights came on .. We're ment to be driving it 300 miles tomorrow to see my son , dont think we will be now Its so frustrating as no one seems to know what's up as the messages dont stay in the memory, as soon as you turn the car off and re start they dissappear !
  5. The chap plugged the machine in, and said it didnt need to be coded in as it wasn't asking for it
  6. Well , replacing the sensors and the battery have made no difference... still a christmas tree Light show on the dash No idea what to do next ... Any ideas??
  7. We've ours booked in monday for the abs sensors 🤞🏻
  8. Sorry .. but we thought skoda would be competent!!!
  9. We are experiencing exactly the same issues , and the same faults on the dash.. Absolutely at our wits end , haven't had the car long and it's been at garages more then with us... no one seems to know what's the issue as its not showing anything when plugged in.. Like you if you turn the car off and back on again it clears.. Ours first started after we changed the front tyres ..
  10. We have a TDI Sorry whats a DTC? when it went to skoda there was nothing showing on the dash, they had no idea but gave us a quote of nearly 4000.00 Of things it could be... including a possible oil leak...! They were absolutely useless and had no clue didn't even take it for a run to see Weve driven it around for the last 2 days .. no problems Yet today.. lights up like a christmas tree and losing power
  11. Weve had it scanned at skoda main dealer and another independent garage
  12. Smashing thanks for your help
  13. Fabulous, ill try it.. I'll try anything ! Thanks
  14.
