Long time wanter, recent owner. Hi all, new member here. Having wanted a Sportline since they came out in the UK, recently got myself what must be one of the last Mark 1's on the market. 74 plate Sportline DSG SCR 2.0 diesel with almost 200bhp under my DSG supported right foot and I love it. Goes like you know what off a shovel and still returns 56+ mpg, on a motorway run.

I bought my Sportline here. Saw it advertised on Auto Trader and their website. Was passing through Newport, so went to see it. Not there, but in the prep centre in Cwmbran. Three weeks later admitted they had lost the keys. Two further weeks later, it finally arrived. Went to see only to find damage on the bonnet. Bear in mind, it's been in the prep centre for over a month! Said they would get it sorted. Went back the following week and think a 5 year old had done the repair. Another week and the repair done to a satisfactory level. 74 plate Mk 1 with 3200 miles on it. Pre sale inspection not up to much. One salesman told me that adaptive cruise is standard fit. It's not. Thinking of having it retro fitted at an independent. Wouldn't take it back there.
