I've noticed, on several occasions, mainly on motorways, that my 2025 Superb L & K hybrid detects a lower speed limit and will continue for miles showing a lower speed than necessary. Where is the Superb getting its speed limit information fromm

Can these be ignition controlled?

Whenever I set out on a journey, after a few hundred yards I get 2 or 4 chimes like a pen tapped against a wine glass. Is this a speed warning as it seems to happen around the speed limit for the road I am on? If I reduce my speed then increase it I cannot reproduce the chimes. Not a definite ding like chime more a sort of tsch! tsch! Any ideas what this may be? Add Tag Share V

This is weird today, before getting into the car I operated the seat controls and the seat went forward properly, so I did the seat recalibration thing again and all is how I want it.

All was set up as I wanted, then yesterday seat didn't slide back with ignition off and driver's door open. Also the seat no longer comes as far forward as it did. Any idea what I may have done to cause this?

I have a feeling the car also detects if you are nor 100% concentrating on what you are doing. This has happened to me 3 times and in each case my sttention was distracted whilst reversing at very low speed

Is it possible to get my Superb Hybrid to run the engine in my driveway?

I've always used E5 petrol since owning a Škoda. In your opinion if I use the engine more should it cure the problem.

Petrol is about a month old about 2000 miles mostly electric. about once a month the engine is used and run for a while at about 90 degrees.

I've just noticed that the engine management orange light stay on. most of my driving is short distance under electric power. Is this light supposed to stay on?

How do I get the Drivers Seat Convenience Entry seat setting to operate? At the moment the seat stays where I put it. The infotainment tells me Drivers Seat Convenience entry is activated. Also when I adjust the seat it does not come very far forward, I still feel I am too far away from the pedals. Can I adjust the long screw I can see in the seat runner? When the seat is quite far forward there is still plenty of this long screw visible when I look down

Can anyone explain this icon at the top of the infotainment screen on a 2025 L & K hybrid. It's like an oblong with a slight curve on the top with a zig-zag line horizontally. If I press it it turns green but what does it do?

I'm still looking for the answer to my original question if anyone knows please.

OK! But fits in nicely with the Mk 4 designation.

Hello to Superb 1.5 TSi, DSG, Hybrid, Lauren and Klement, Estate. When I took my Octavia in for its annual service, I had booked a loan car but one wasn't available. I was offered instead a demonstrator modrl as above, 3 months old and with 1,200 miles on the clock. I liked this car a lot so asked if I could buy it. Was told I could and got a whopping discount knocked off the on the road price.

Hahaha! I just realised after making this post that this is the Superb iv forum as iv is Roman Numerals so Mk 4 it is. Nothing beats making a **** of yourself in public. My question above still stands though.

I know this is the wrong forum but there is not yet a Superb iv forum and I don't know how to create one. My question is when I charge my Superb hybrid battery, is the 12 volt battery also charged?

Is it possible to deactivate the start stop system per journey? 2025 Skoda Superb 1.5 TSi DSG hybrid?

i replaced this exact EFB battery on my 2017 Octavia within the last few weeks. The Octavia I had before my current model had an AGM battery. I imagine the EFB battery is now fitted as a cheaper alternative. The battery I fitted was an AGM and I have VCDS so updated the battery information using the guide above. I can recommend it except VCDS wouldn't accept the serial number in the way illustrated. I removed the "/" in the date and left spaces and VCDS was happy.

I have replaced the battery as the resting voltage was hovering just under 12.5 and it is 5½ years old so not at its best. Travelled several hundreds of miles towing since and problem <so far> has not reappeared.

That guide is excellent with one exception. My VCDS wouldn't accept the date in the format shown. It was happy though if I entered the date without the dashes and left a space instead.

I have bought this battery. What do I use as a serial number?
