  2. I'm having a similar issue with my passenger door on my mk2 fabia, I know the wiring between the door and car are faulty as the window button on that door has worked intermittently for a few years now but for the past month the door has been locked shut. Tried the bumping technique with no luck and had the door card off and tried to manually actuate the lever SilverTabby highlighted but it didn't release. I had the driver side locking mechanism completely out to give it a clean as its been bouncing and not latching properly, manually actuating the lever on this side does release the lock. I thought this could be something to do with the driver side having a key barrel whereas the passenger side doesn't? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
