  2. I had the same issue recently when we had strong winds — the flap froze halfway and wouldn’t open or close at all. What worked for me was getting into the car, switching the ignition on and off, getting out again, locking and unlocking the car, and then trying the flap button once more. It released straight away after that.
  3. That’s a solid combo! The Octavia is a classic — they just keep going. The Arona looks smart too, kind of like the Kamiq’s cousin 😊 Nice to meet another Sheffielder as well — small world!

I’ve been playing around with Apple HomeKit automations at home and in the car — things like preheating only when my morning alarm goes off, or using a quick HomeKit widget instead of opening a bunch of apps. Curious to see what other EV owners are doing with their setups or automations!
