Thanks for the original post Arkaig, and now this explanatory set of pictures from Ralf .. I have seen the full width reflective strip many times on other models since getting my Kodiaq and always wondered about the difference, and ease of change to the bitty cheap looking plastic honeycomb piece.. Never having owned any kind of up to date or modern vehicle, I find myself drawn to carrying out this mod on my own 2019 Kodiaq .. It really does look so much better ..
