Can you explain Privacy to lowest setting I have mine to allow all are you saying it should be a different setting?

Tried every possible way to update software. Bought every Skoda App but nothing. Put car in for a service and asked dealer to do updates. They said not possible you have to buy a licence but parts dept (Spain) did not have that, told to call Skoda Head Office and pay for licence/update. I phoned Skoda UK just in case my Spanish was not up to it to be told that if you have 2 USB C connectors and no SD card then OTA updates no longer possible and updates have to be done at dealer. Does anyone have any better advice??

I am fitting Dolphin front parking sensors to my 2021 Scala. To do this properly I need to remove the front bumper to drill the holes. So can anyone tell me a step by step answer please? I can see how to route cables to inside the car but I really need to remove the front scuttle (right phrase?) it is the plastic trim across width of car below windscreen wipers are fitted in this trim. With that removed I can follow the main wiring loom and feed the cables into the interior or from interior to engine bay. The kit comes with a simple on off switch which I may install or simply replace one of the blanks next to Auto Stop with a Skoda switch. Thanks in advance.

I would love to update the software. I paid for Skoda Connect as it has lapsed but nothing. I followed instructions via entering VIN to get the download of latest version copied as per instructions to a USB C Flash Drive. It says plug drive into front part of vehicle but photo only shows the screen no indication if they mean the forward one of the 2 USB C sockets in tray below screen or is there another one? Either way nothing happened. Went to system Info and clicked on Software update again nothing. Bought a physical Owners Manual which usefully says info only available for software via the onboard manual which is difficult to access while you are in system settings!! Starting to v pi**ed off!

What is the latest Nav version for 2020 Scala. Tried looking everywhere thought I wa snot bad at tech but Skoda hopeless for giving info. This is my screenshot am I up to date? I have subscribed (yet more money) to Skoda Connect system confirms all enabled but when I click on the Update tag nothing happend blank screen!!

I have just fitted a Garmin Mini2 Dashcam. Took 30 mins. Cleaned screen attached the adhesive magnetic mount. just below the black lines and behind the mirror, almost. Bought Garmins Constant Power cable which plugs in to the OBD socket so no need for other wiring. Pulled away door rubbers and tuck cable from unit into headlining, routed cable inside of grove for door rubber then pushed seal back. Best to try to lay any spare cable in parallel lines to avoid any interference. Works perfectly. The power unit has a slide button to select power off after 10 mins ot 2 longer options I chose 10 mins just to be sure no excess battery discharge. Same procedure would apply to all garmin units and in fact the constant cable setup will work with any other make that has USB C socket on device.
