  1. Can you provide me with the 0480 firmware files and the instructions, or should I take it to a local specialist for reflash
  2. Yes, that's correct. As shown in the attached picture, the Installed SW MU version is indeed 0480. If I already have version 0480, should I try flashing the same version again to fix any potential corruption, or is there a newer firmware version you recommend I install?" 20251209_130836.heic
  3. Got it. The status of the FeC Code 00050000 as 'Valid' confirms that the Bluetooth licensing is correct. I understand the next step is to Flash New Firmware on the unit. Since this is a sensitive process, could you please advise: Is this something that requires a professional workshop/specialized tool (like VCDS/ODIS), or can it be safely executed by the user (e.g., via SD card)? I want to ensure the unit is not damaged. Thank you."
  4. Honestly! I don't know what device was used, but I saw him using a scanner.
  5. I took my car to a mechanic and he checked it with a scanner, but he told me it didn't detect any faults and that it probably needs a firmware update.
  6. @pab567 The main problem started with Bluetooth. Bluetooth and SmartLink stopped working after I used an Android Auto USB flash drive. After that, Bluetooth does not work anymore. I tried installing MIBSTD2 Toolbox only to fix or diagnose the Bluetooth issue, but I cannot install the Toolbox either (I get “No data available”). So: – Original issue: Bluetooth not working – Toolbox issue came later while trying to fix Bluetooth

  8. @pab567 Hi, sorry to tag you, but I’m stuck with my MST2 unit. My car: Skoda Octavia, unit 5Q0 035 864 C, HW H41, SW MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T (0480). I tried installing the MIB2 Toolbox and enabling Developer Mode from SD (FAT32), but the unit always shows: “Error: No data available. Please insert a source with software update data or check the source.” I copied the bare files (no folder) to the SD and tried SD1 + SD2. Still the same. Do you know if P0480T H41 needs a signed activator or a different method? Any help or correct files would be really appreciated. I’m in Finland if that matters. Thanks!
  9. Hello everyone, can anyone help with a problem with my 2017 Skoda Octavia? After using a flash drive with Android Auto for a while, and then using Bluetooth and internet, the car completely stopped working and I can't even access its settings. So, if anyone knows what to do, please let me know. Thanks in advance. 20251209_130643.heic 20251209_130836.heic 20251209_131004.heic 20251209_131044.heic
  10. Hi everyone, I have a 2017 Skoda Octavia with firmware version MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T (I’m located in Finland). I’ve been trying to activate Developer Mode (Green Engineering Menu) and install MIB2 Toolbox, but the system keeps showing this error: “Error: No data available. Please insert a source with software update data or check the source.” Here’s what I have already tried: Used several SD cards (formatted FAT32) Placed the folder MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T correctly in root with metainfo2.txt and all Toolbox files Tried enabling Developer Mode via script (enable_developer_mode.sh) Attempted manual update through the “Update software” menu – same error every time The unit refuses to read any SD update. Bluetooth and Android Auto stopped working right after inserting another USB drive earlier, so I suspect some firmware issue or partial corruption. Does anyone know if this firmware (P0480T) is locked, and if there’s a signed MIB2 Toolbox or any other safe way to re-enable Developer Mode or Bluetooth? I’m attaching screenshots of the on-screen error messages for reference. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏 — Thanks in advance! 20251106_131441.heic
  11. Just a small follow-up — still hoping for some help 🙏 @pab567 @dasilvarsa @bogdanm @ptthomas My Octavia 2017 (MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T – 5Q0 035 864 C) lost Bluetooth and SmartLink after using Android Auto USB. The dealer wants 200€, so I’d like to know if a re-flash with the same firmware could help, or if there’s any safe workaround.
  12. Hi @pab567 👋 I’ve seen many of your helpful posts about MIB2 firmware and Bluetooth fixes. I’m having issues with my Škoda Octavia 2017, unit 5Q0 035 864 C (MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T) — Bluetooth and SmartLink stopped working after using a USB stick for Android Auto. The dealer here wants 200€ for an update, so I’m looking for the correct firmware (maybe MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0891T). Could you please check if there’s an update available or guide me to the right firmware version? Many thanks in advance for your time! 🙏
  13. Hi everyone, I have a Škoda Octavia 2017 with infotainment unit 5Q0 035 864 C (Amundsen MIB2). The current software version is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T. After plugging in a USB stick for Android Auto, Bluetooth and SmartLink completely stopped working. I tried FECS reset and factory reset, but nothing helped. The local Škoda dealer wants €200 to update the firmware, which is quite expensive. Could anyone please share or guide me to the latest firmware version MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0891T (or the correct one for my unit 5Q0035864C)? Many thanks in advance! 🙏 — Octavia 2017 owner from Finland
