  1. Thanks, yes that's exactly the file I used, it is bit by bit identical (same md5 hash) so it must be a problem with my unit, or my SD card. Will try another SD card when I have some time. Thank you anyway!!!! Or, maybe any other ideas on why this might be incompatible? The SW Train is exactly the one like in most other screenshots here and MIB Helper also states that this version (P6320 MU0490) is the right one to use for that existing SW Train. It is really strange... Thank you again
  2. Hi there, and thanks for this really helpful forum and all the effort put into this! I today tried to update my MIB1 from 0435 to 0490 which is the latest supported version according to MIB Helper, and I even managed to get hold of a file of MSTD_EU_SK_P6230-MU0490 which I think should be the correct one and also doesn't look corrupt etc. But no matter what I try, my Skoda always keeps stating it cannot read the Release Info (metainfo2.txt) upon attempting to start the actual update. It says it cannot read the \SDCard1\.\SKODA_NAV_SSB\metainfo2.txt But the file is there on the SD card, it is also correctly formatted (FAT32), and the fact that it actually wants to read that file tells me that it actually has successfully read the metainfo2.txt in the root directory, which points to that file. Any ideas? Maybe my downloaded file is corrupt anyway? Should I try another SD card? Or maybe some of the friendly folks here could provide me with a download link to a known working copy of the P6329 (0490) firmware file? That would be great. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am actually not quite unexperienced with doing stuff like this, and also successfully upgraded some MIB2, but that old MIB1 keeps bugging me... ;) Thanks and looking forward to any helpful replies! Best regards, x86
