Hi again! So, I managed to reach the solenoid component and bend the little pins to increase the contact. I did a scan on the module and erase the error, and finally got rid of it. Indeed, the component that hold the solenoid is the last component you can reach after you disassemble the entire central console. I took some photos, but not with exact steps to follow. The tools that I needed were prying tools for the trims, T20 and T30, a 10mm socket(preferable a longer one as the screws are a bit longer) and a flat screwdriver to help me with the removal of the different connectors. I’ll try to explain the steps as best I remember: Remove the trim with the gearbox selector and the wireless charger with the prying tool and unclip all the connectors. After that is removed, you have 4 T20 screws, two on each side that you have to remove. In the front row also, the central console has two “skirts” that needs to be removed. These have one screw each, almost at the extremity near the accelerator pedal(for me, as i have LHD) and on the other side as well. After the screw is removed, pull the skirt to the side and down, they’ll come off quite easy. Remove the rear usb chargers trim/rear vents with a prying tool. Start from the bottom, there are two clips, one on each side, then go up, and you’ll find two more, one on each side. After that, gently pull from the bottom towards upright and use the prying tool to unclip it from near the armrest hinge. Once that is removed you will have to remove the duct vent and you’ll be able to reach the 2 T30 screws, that you have to remove. Once that is done, you’ll be able to remove the central console, but you have to unplug the connectors for the parking brake/autohold. Remove the T20 screw from the front side metal part that provide the 220V current and the two T30 from the back. There is no need to unplug it. You just take it out of the way. Remove the two T30 screws from the plastic bracket that holds the central console with the 4 screws from step 2. Remove the duct vent. Use the prying tool to unclip the keyless module from the upper side. (This step can be ignored i think, as after I removed it, I saw that it wasn’t blocking anything) Remove the 4 10mm nuts that holds the final plastic part, that cover the module with the solenoid. Remove the solenoid with prying tools on the clips and gently pull it upward to not damage the pins. Once you the solenoid, bend the little pins so it makes a better contact with the counterpart. Everything in reverse order, making sure you don’t force/break anything and you don’t forget about the connectors.

Hello everyone! Recently I got the same error on the Gearbox and after plugging the OBD11, it seems that I have an issue with the P27F500, which is the Solenoid. I also found this procedure and tried to follow it, but it seems that the difference that we all saw, is due to the PHEV versions which are a bit different. I'm curious, have you managed to reach the solenoid? I will dive into it today, and try to take some photos and explain what I've done, IF I manage to find it.

I know how annoying it can be... I've checked the screen on mine, and it had a protective film, as the screen wasn't matte but shiny. I've removed the plastic film for a while now, and hasn't happened in some days now, and the weather here was quite changing, from freezing cold -5, -10 degrees to 5 or 10 degrees. I do not understand yet, under what conditions appears, if when a bit cold and humidity, only some cold weather, or freezing weather.

I agree with you, that the volume control might be of a difference source, but, the point is that when it goes in that hidden menu, the volume touch pad is not working. Once the infotainment is done its magic and it no longer goes there, the volume control works. I do not have issues with the power-on/off, as that works perfectly fine even when it does its thing, as I've tried to hard reset it, by holding the power button until the screen is completely black and restart it, but this doesn't solve it at all. Do you know if the screen itself can be dismounted and disassembled to clean the inside a bit, maybe there are some humid spots there or something?

As far as the screen is concerned, I’ve worn multiple cloths cleaning it. I think there is a protective film over the screen added by the previous owner, which I’ll try to remove and see if anything improves or not. But, let’s say it registers the ghost input on the menu touch area. Why when this happens, the volume touch pad doesn’t work? How are they related? It baffles me.

Hello everyone, I currently own a 2021 Octavia iV. The cars was bought second hand, last year in May. All the summer/fall, I didn't have any kind of issues with the infotainment system. Once the winter came, at every first start of the car, the infotainment randomly goes in the hidden menu and stays there. If I try to go to another app, like smartlink or radio, it switches itself to hidden menu again. It does this thing for 10 or maybe 15 minutes, and it's a pain in the **s, as you cannot control the climate, change from electric to hybrid, or anything, and also the touch volume control does not work. I thought that it might be an issue with the SW and went to do an update, so now I have the 1989 version on it, but the issue is still there. From a FB page, someone said that there's a "autorun" file, that might be corrupted or something like that, and that this file might be the issue. Has anyone encountered this issue? Does someone have an idea of how I might solve this thing? Thank you
