  1. Intrusive fuel pump whine, is it normal?

    I've just test-driven a 2016 2.0TDI Outdoor. The tank was nearly empty with 75 miles range left. The car was very nice but there is an intrusive whine coming from the fuel pump. The garage has said they will fix it if I put a deposit on the car, and will return my deposit if they couldn't. Is this whine normal? PS It's my first post, please be gentle :)
