  1. Thanks for all the responses. I followed the Central Locking menu from Vehicle Settings, where "Locking upon walking away" and other options were present, but there was no "Locking upon driving" (or moving) option there. If it was ever present, it might have been deleted with software updates as suggested. Guess I'll just have to live with it (only I find it so irritating, and also, I wonder how long it will be before the mechanism wears out!). I don't fancy doing the OBD thing, what ever that is. Cheers!
  2. Re. 2022 Octavia 1.5TSI SE L. Is it possible to disable the "automatic locking when moving" function? I have explored Vehicle Settings and arrived at Central Locking, but the option is not listed there. T.I.A.
  3. Re. 2022 Octavia 1.5TSI SE L. What changes does Comfort Mode actually make to the car, different from Normal Mode? T.I.A.
  4. Thank you or the helpful replies - much appreciated!
  5. Thanks, but would that apply to a manual model like mine? (I should have specified I got a manual box).
  6. Hi, I have two questions that don't seem to be explained very well (at least to me!) in the handbook. (2022 Octavia SE L TSI). What will happen if I close the doors and accidentally leave the key inside the car? (Keyless KESSY). When parking the car, if the Auto-hold "A" is lit up on the electronic handbrake (ie. engaged), is it still necessary to also pull up the main lever "P"? Thanks in advance!
  7. Pleased to have found this forum! Loving the 2022 Octavia that I have recently acquired, after owning a Vauxhall Insignia for eight years. Now retired, I'm hoping to get around the country a bit in my new wheels.
