Mine is from November 2024, but since I updated it last month, it seems to have gotten even worse. I read that the new ones (the ones with Skoda written on the steering wheel instead of the logo) are better.

I partially solved the problem by disabling the manoeuvre assistant in the parking options. It can be disabled permanently, and since then I haven't had any problems whatsoever. But what you're describing is a completely different story. A few days ago, I had an equally dangerous experience. I was also in the center lane of the highway, going about 120 km/h (around 80mph). I was overtaking a truck on the right on a slight curve, and the car in front was also overtaking another truck up ahead. For some reason, probably inexperience, the car in front braked sharply, and instinctively, with the left lane clear (but with another car approaching), I tried to avoid it. But at that moment, the car decided it needed to brake and began emergency braking. Since I hadn't turned on my indicator, it also tried to prevent me from changing lanes. It must have been a fraction of a second, but I forced the steering wheel to change lanes, and as I hit the accelerator flat out, the car stopped braking, accelerated again, and I narrowly avoided it. It would never have been able to brake because, through my fault, it didn't have enough following distance, but because of that, I almost hit both the car in front and the one approaching in the left lane. For the rest of the day, I kept the collision avoidance system turned off out of anger. Unfortunately, the system is calibrated for those who drive with a strict distance in mind and doesn't take into account abnormal situations. Let's just say that in Italy we all drive badly, and this system doesn't help at all.

Good morning everyone, I need your help resolving an issue I can't seem to resolve, even with the help of Skoda customer service. I purchased a Superb Style, registered in Italy in 11/2024 (steering wheel with Skoda logo, not lettering), with the Lounge Design setup (the seats are electric except for the forward movement which is manual and does not have position memories). According to the specifications, the seat ventilation should be included, but there's no way to activate it, not even through physical service via computer. In the seats screen, the massage function alone is shown and in the side smart dials, seat heating alone is shown, while it should show two icons side by side, one with heating and one with ventilation. Now I'm starting to wonder if the first Superb4 didn't have this option in the Lounge Design package, but it was added later. I can't find the old price list to check. I don't know if anyone can help me. Thank you very much.

I had a 70mai 510 on my Octavia and it was great, so I decided to get the A810s for my Superb, only to discover that it doesn't work with the rearview mirror usb-c. I couldn't figure out why. I had to wire it directly to the fuse box (but now it works 24/7, so it's fine anyway).

I've had the exact same problem in very similar situations. I live in a city with chaotic traffic (Florence), which certainly wasn't even remotely conceived in the minds of whoever designed the system. With the old Octavia III, I never had a problem reversing with the classic sensors; when needed, it braked just in time. But with the Superb, it was stressful. My three-year-old daughter was in the car, and she was terrified by a seemingly unprovoked braking. Not to mention the new brakes, which I don't think appreciate these violent brakings during the break-in process. For now, I deactivate the collision sensor as soon as I get in the car. It's simply dangerous. It seems absurd to me that I can't control such an immature option. And it ****es me off because the car is wonderful if it weren't for this bull****.

Just sold my beloved Octavia III And bought a new Škoda Superb Wagon 2.0 TDI Style. Love it
