  1. I am going to upsize to 45s. ODBeleven can alter the speedo correction after fitment of the 45s so under or over reading is no longer a problem
  2. Im thinking cross climate 3s when I comes closer to winter. Hopefully get some near back friday
  3. I need to upgrade eventually soon, my stock Turanza 005's bought an ex motability car with only 3800 on the clock, plenty of tread, but because it was hardly driven and probably left u touched outside. Had 2 advisories for tyre cracking. Car had just hit 10k so 6k in 4.5 months so do a good 15k a year
  4. Mechanically it fits the car though abd it is a approved tyre standard size on the 4x4 versions of the vehicle. Yes it will read off, but fir the differnce the speedo will just no longer understand read. The speed in the car would become the actual speed. Plus I wouldn't of thought it would be significant enough to be classed as a modification, the tyre thickness isnt changing from 225. Just the side wall percentage by 5% the wheels are remaining 19 inch so o would say it was a massive invalidate insurance modification.
  5. They arent availabe at costoco either in CC3. They may be able to special order them. But I am still going to change from 40 to 45s for a softer ride. As lwr costcos rules. They wont fit 45s unless there are 45s on the vehicle already of which there isnt as they are 40s currently. They said I could however buy the tyres at Costcos price abd take the 4 tyres away with me tonget fitted by someone else
  6. That was my plan. But the catch is, costco only fit lime for like. I could buy the tyres, but they wont fit them becasue they are not the same as what is on the car when it goes in. Switching from 225 40s r19 to 225 45s r19. Secondly, at least in the UK, neither 225 40 or 225 45 is lists cross climate 3 as an option for either size on costcos website. Just the pilot for Michelin and good year for all season.
  7. Northern England. 1 hour from the boarder
  8. That was my thoughts. The SF3 as on websites they are marketed as having a rim protector too and have a good comfort profile. Not as comfortable in the motorway as continental though apparently? Best wet grip but not as good range or lifespan apparently. But although we dont get a lot of UK snow. When we do. We need traction and apaprently Michelin or Goodyear do it better. Pros and cons to all my options. Guess the question is. How much are Sf3s better at rim protecting than the rest. Surely all premium all season tyres will offer some degree of rim protection?
  9. Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. UK right hand drive. Passenger rear. I think this is the missing piece? https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/57a601169cfl8-wheel-cover-skoda-45385.html Not the cheapest. And a quite bit delivered so wondering if Skoda would fit one cheaper and examine the rest to make sure the clips are okay if they were not stilen and loose. And bonus question. 8000 miles at present. How many miles am I hoping to get out of the skoda turanza summer tyres? Looking to upgrade to all season. Either Prelli SF3 (SF4 when released as they have wet grip and rim protection) Good year vector 4 (5) Continental all season Or Michelin cross climate. Got the 225 40 R19 and looking to uograde to 225 45 R19. Anyone went bigger e.g 235 45 or 225 50? Cheers
  10. Yea. So chances are that is the same as mine the face-lift. Think the 331 is the badge in the tailgate. Was just concerned as with mine being a 72 reg it is around the face-lift time. Having said that I don't think they did the older one in the phoenix orange. Speaking of the fronts it ks the 684S or something like that yes?
  11. Dos yours still have the skoda badge on the wheel and not the text?
  12. Hi All. I need a rear wiper for my Skoda Karoq 72 plate sportline and dont want to pay for the OEM part Tried Halfords and the only option doesnt fit Now the Bosch wipers It says the A331H and A335H should both be compatible. However other sources suggest only one fits depending on the year/pre or post face-lift. And heard that the 335 is post face lift so I'm inclined to think I need the 335. From my understanding the pre face lift was the models that showed the badge in the rear and post face lift has Skoda spelled out? like in mine has the skoda letters on the back. But now I am not so sure because I when I was in the showroom and there is karoq models different again. The showroom models had skoda spelled out on the steering wheel but my steerimg wheel has the logo. Any help wouod be appreciated. Thanks
