There’s something strange going on because most of the packages show as N/A and only inic is available for update. cpu is also showing as N/A, together with main, mapupdate, personalpoi, etc. Does this mean 253T is too old and I need to flash an intermediate firmware before 480T? Also, during the update, should I untick/disable the esd_sec package to keep the toolbox and patches? I’m also attaching my modified metainfo2.txt in case you notice something wrong with it. metainfo2.txt

@pab567 I only modified the two RequiredVersion entries and changed them to 0. I did not modify the RequiredVersionOfDM values.

Good Morning I already patched SWDL and modified the RequiredVersion values in metainfo2.txt to 0, but when I try to install the firmware from SWDL through Test Mode, it still says that the current software version is too old. I’m attaching a screenshot.

I’ve already run the “Patch tsd.mibstd2.system.swdownload to accept any metainfo2.txt” patch. Can I go directly from 253T to 480T now, or do I still need to modify the metainfo2.txt first?

Hello everyone, I’m trying to update the firmware of my unit, but I’m running into several issues when attempting to upgrade to a higher version. Currently, I have: Hardware: H24 Software: 0253 Unit: 5Q0035864A I’ve attached a photo with the system information for reference. I was able to install version 0253 without any problems, but when I try to upgrade to newer versions (such as 0366 or 0480), I get errors like “software too old” or the system doesn’t recognize the update package. Does anyone know if there is a way to upgrade from this version on this unit? Do I need to follow specific intermediate updates or unlock something beforehand? Any help or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
