Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here has come across this exact issue, because after 7 months and multiple visits, neither my dealer nor Škoda’s technical support has been able to identify the cause. Car: Škoda Superb Sportline, 2021, 200kW Problem: When braking, the side sensors intermittently trigger a warning that there is an obstacle very close to the car — even though there is nothing there. It happens sporadically (not every time I brake) What has already been done (all without success): • Control unit replaced • Multiple calibrations of the sensors • Sensors themselves replaced • Wiring in the front bumper replaced • Wiring to the control unit replaced • Software/firmware updates applied • Sensor mounting points inspected • Sensors recalibrated again Despite all of the above, the fault keeps recurring. Nobody at the dealer or at Škoda technical support has been able to explain the root cause.
