  1. If it helps this is what the latest manual says As soon as the interior monitor detects movements inside the locked vehicle, it triggers the alarm. As soon as the anti-towing protection detects tilts in the locked vehicle, it triggers the alarm. These functions should be deactivated if there is a possibility that the alarm will be triggered by movements (e.g. by people or animals) within the vehicle interior or if the vehicle has to be transported (e.g. by train or ship) or towed. Disable both functions once ▶ In infotainment in the menu,  →  → Open and close. ▶ By locking twice within 2 seconds.

I had to get a new fob as the original one got damaged about a year ago Although after doing a google search I found company's who could supply fobs the problem was that they had to be programmed After doing a search I could not locate anyone who could do that In the end I had to bite the bullet and go back to the main dealer who I purchased the car from I seem to remember it cost about £250
  3. Hi All Apologies if this has already been posted I logged into the Skoda Update Portal today and found they have updated the Maps for the AMUNDSEN. I was using ECE1 2020 The new update is ECE1 2020/2021 I have downloaded this successfully to an original Skoda SD Card and it functions on the in car navigation with not problems There is now a warning on the portal when you download the file saying "Please note that after the update all previous function may not be available at all or in the original scale. Please note that updates may not be compatible with all previous devices. Compatibility of your MIB device with other devices can be found on http://compatibilitylist.skoda-auto.com. Performing this update you acknowledge aforementioned and assume the risk and liability arising therefrom Regards John
