    Door wiring loom issues are common and repairable. Contact a competent auto electrician or even DiY .... search the forum.

    Just checked the invoice for the work on my ABS sensor, the sensor itself was £49.95 + 20% VAT. A replacement module was not required.

    I'd recommend getting an OBD II dongle and downloading VAG DPF App. I find it very useful.

    Had a similar occurrence on my Mk2. The shield behind the OSR brake disk had rusted, become dislodged and damaged the ABS sensor. Got my local Indy to sort it and all is well now.
