'Cos he didn't whine or moan or complain?
Or 'cos he carried on, maybe looking for more to happen?
-
Yes, I'm going too. Really looking forward to it

Coming up 4 years in August

Great pics.
You didn't happen to snap any of LH burning rubber did you ................. on or off the track?
-
I fear I resemble those remarks ........................ maybe that's why I'm divorced
:S
-
WB. How long have you been lozt to us? lol

Great stuff. Good race, brilliant overtaking. Well done Jens ....... thoroughly deserved!!!

I knew Webber was going to win before the race, but I 'forgot' to vote so I'm just putting matters right so you all know
lol

Ha ha, I'm in a group of one at the moment ................... the old fart
lol

The Skoda badge on the engine cover was a loose fit and rattled at low revs on mine .............. easy fix
lol

If anyone feels as strongly as I do about this, following this lousy government's recent decision, please take a minute or two to sign up to the official campaign by visiting www.gurkhajustice.org.uk You can add your name to the petition on the website too.
You can also lobby your local MP to support a motion being put to the vote in Parliament tomorrow by writing to him, very easily, via TheyWorkForYou.com: Are your MPs and Peers working for you in the UK's Parliament? Please ask them to support the Gurkha Justice motion on Wednesday.
Thanks

But mine doesn't leak Roto ................ and I replied to the survey!!!
'Thinks .................... maybe I was the only Superb owner who did' (out of 21,000+ replies)?!! No. 2 spot based on a sample of one?
If you'd been the only one to reply Roto, I guess it would have come about 90th ..... and, if we'd both replied, it would have been about mid-table

The Auto Express Driver Power results for 2009 are out ... and our beloved Octy has dropped from first place to third!
However no great shame involved. First place goes to the Jaguar XF (I wish!) and second place to some obscure large saloon from a Czech manufacturer!
Glad to see we are still basically exonerated in choosing what we have.
I'm with Octygone here ............ and on something of a mission this morning (I've emailed the results to 'several' of my 'friends' and 'family')

The Superb is...well superb I suppose.
Yep
-
Quite agree and if so that would be a fantastic 3 years in a row! 2007, 2008, 2009??
Where is the serious opposition coming from ? The last time the Octy did not win was 2006 when it only came 2nd, pipped to the post by the Honda S2000 - how many of those do you see on the road?
He he, I'm saying nothing
-
So who wants to trade then? I'd be happy to sell my cat for a mere $10 million.
Mind you, I'd rather have the dollars in cash than swap it for anything else .................... or does that kind of undermine the theory?
LOL
-
Really feel for you there. I also like to try and keep mine as best I can, even tho' its a company car and, for anyone who likes to take some pride in their car ................ there but for the grace of god go any of us!!!
Hope it polishes out ok

On Set2 the cumulative data runs for more than 3000 miles .................. it resets to zero after every 99.99 hours total driving time.
I've always let mine run, as a rough check on long-term average mpg and, over nearly 30,000 miles now, it has usually shown somewhere between 48 - 53 mpg per 100 hours, at an average speed off 30-33 mph over 3,000 - 3,300 miles, each cycle, comprising a pretty regular mix of short/long, urban/x-urban mileage. That's for a 1.9 130PD diesel.
I know the maxidot/trip may well be a tad over-optimistic but I can't be arsed with OCD brim to brim checks and calculations. lol

Mine turns itself off ............. eventually ( if I forget). Probably not for at least 20 minutes though, probably nearer half an hour.
