  1. In the passenger storage compartment.
  2. Sunroof is an excellente piece of equipment that really makes driving even more comfortable and luxurius almost as having a cabriolet. But it also requires suitable maintenance. If maintenance is not done, it can become a worts nightmare with very expensive repair costs. And surprisingly large number of my customers had a problem with their sunroof. In this video I have discussed proper sunroof maintenance which should lead to trouble free enjoyment of the sunroof. Even though it is presented on VW Golf 7, tips apply to sunroof maintenance on all cars from VW group, so also Skoda.
  3. If it does not respond, that means that there is a problem with phisical cable connection or the aftermarket radio does not support the Skoda communication protocol.
  4. Update to 2020/2021 maps and tolls are gone.
  5. From the start. At the beginning there was no other (cheap) way to achive that the driver has hands on the steering wheel. Now some cars (VW Passat FL) have capacitive steering wheel and they do not detemine this via steering movement. Also some have dedicated camera that watches the driver (Cadillac Supercruise for example, tracking eyes of the driver when in full autonomous mode), etc.
  6. I have done my share of driving on the racetrack, but that driving was next level driving and I would suppose we would all need few moments to get it together... I am not really a fan of going 260km/h in the turns with trees being a few meters away. Even if the car has a rollcage.
  7. Sweat does not matter, just movement.
  8. Yes, because it does not have capacitive steering wheel as FL Passat. And you have to have quite still hand.
  9. According to my info, this cannot be solved with VCDS.
  10. There is hardly any need for a research, since except the assistance systems, everything else is basically the same as on preFL Superb 3 (post MY2017). If you understand what you are doing and not just following the instructions it should not be a problem to code MK3.5 version.
  11. I do not know what electrical system Superb 3.5 uses, but majority of modules have the same options as on MK3, so the coding is basically the same. The only difference (regarding the coding) is the A5 camera, which is the ''problem'' for assistance coding. But as I said, some assistance can be coded. And this is written from practical experience, because I have coded a lot of MK3.5 Superbs. No iV yet though. PS: So does the Golf 7.5 also have different electrical system due to the fact that it had GTE hybrid option already?
  12. This is not true. Golf 8 and Octavia 4 use completelly different modules with SFK protection. Superb 3.5 does not have that, so it is basically a facelifted model of Superb 3.5. But it does use different camera, so some assistance systems can be activated, some not.
  13. On new Fabia 3 you can order package Light Assistant that has included the following functions: - Coming/Leaving Home light - Tunnel light - automatic switch on dipped beams when dark Here it costs only 30 EUR, so it is really a bargain compaired to Rain Light Assistant which costs 215 EUR and has also Rain Sensor and autodimm rearview mirror. My question is which sensor does Light Assistant use? With Rain Light Assistant you get rain-light sensor installed in the front window, with Light Assistant there is no sensor. I checked also in the instrument panel (for example Skoda Rapid has a small light sensor in the RPM meter) but there is no dot that would point there is a sensor installed.
