Update: My Karoq arrived at the dealer this week (Tuesday 28th) and is being delivered to me next Friday. So all in, not too bad a time from order to delivery, eben accounting for delays caused by component shortages. Talking to the sales guy, there are loads of delays in build of all new Skodas now 🤨

I ordered, (through Drive the Deal), a Karoq SE L 1.5TSi DSG with a lot of options (including Virtual Cockpit) around 5th June. Had a message on Monday 6th September from the supplying dealer that the car is built and has left the factory.

If anyone wants a dog/load guard for a Karoq, I found this online shop which has the genuine Skoda item, part ref ZGB57A017221 listed at £69.99, although when you purchase, it comes out at £71.99 but does includes delivery cost. https://www.pminhafe.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=710671 I have ordered one for the new Karoq that I am in the process of buying (via Drive the Deal) , as it is signicantly cheaper than the Skoda price of £145. It would appear to be a Travall unit, which I rate very highly and have used these for many years in my Octavia estates.

I have a Octavia Elegance on order and am planning what parts and actions I need to carry out an installation when I get it. I want to fit a radio control head in the centre console in the area above the ashtray and the aux inpiut/usb connector module is going to be in the way. So, my idea is to remove it or move it to a different position. Does anyone know how this is attached - a "exploded view" from EKTA could be useful if someone has access to this. Thanks for any info.
