As above... Has anyone tinted the chrome reflectors on the internals of Xenons? Have had my lamin-x in the passed and liked it but fancy a change and to do something different... the only issue I can see that may creep up is tinting the chrome and having no or next to no light from the main beam

I am looking for information on a Black Fabia VRS which has recently been wrote off and is currently been broken in a breakers in Bellshill. I have bought the engine and ancillaries including turbo, expecting it to be standard but to only discover it has a CR Turbos Stage 2 strapped to it! (Brucey Bonus!!) The car was also running a Milltek system and Forge FMIC... I would like to know what engine work if any has been done, such as injector nozzles or cams. Just nice to know the history that's all... Thanks!

I believe there are different designs of the forge fmic depending on how old it it... Older ones require the slam panel to be drilled and tapped or a long bolt through with a nut...

Would 17x9j rear wheels fit a VRS? The standard offset is 23 but i would need adapters at 20mm too...

I plan on a very nice set of bbs rims something a bit wild for the fabia so I want a good stance but not too low I want have I handle good so I can still drive the car fast y0! Lol

Well i'm finally getting round to fitting my KW Varient 3... So what i'm wondering is while i'm doing my coilovers what else should I be upgrading and to what (include part numbers if you can ) I'm thinking along the lines of Cupra top mounts and top mount bearings... Also upgrading to a rather large turbo (even bigger then my VT5 ) Adrian

I would say it is without a doubt worth it, problem is once you start with bigger power its hard to stop aiming for more :( lol I'm sitting at 227 bhp but once i get my turbo rehaulled I'm going to aim for power with some nozzles and another remap... Jase whats your plans or whats getting done to achieve 300bhp? apologies if you have already posted i'll do a wee search now

Hey Guys & Gals, Right I have problem with my car I am currently running an Allard VT5 turbo and have been for some time probably 2/3 of the cars lifetime (2003 car - 100k). A couple weeks ago my car developed a strange noise from the turbo when spooling, it's sounds like something touches the blades like water of something but it stops once you hit full boost and pulls the same as it always has, HARD! lol. But I want to know what this is, I am worried the turbo blades maybe bent of such like... Anyway anyone know what this could be or if at all the turbo? One of my mates had the same sound in his Tommi Evo and it turned out to be the spark plugs weren't gapped correctly, but of course I know I dont have spark plugs, being a diesel... Any help is much appreciated! Also anyone know off the top of their head if Allard turbos have a warrenty on them? Adrian

Hey guys well my cars has suffered the dreaded broken clip on the window regulator... I want to just change the full door cassett with the speaker still in tact too as I have managed to blow that too... I can't however find somewhere with one so as with a lot of parts vag what other car could I get the cassett from? Polo or ibiza or something any ideas? Thanks

I wasn't planning on keeping them on just use them to get through an MOT as i'm strapped just now... So any idea if they'd fit?

Hey guys and gals, Well it's MOT time and I need new dampers all round, ran on eibachs and standard dampers for too long lol... I've been offer a set of FK coilovers for the car to get it through an MOT but they are for a Polo 6n2 now I know they will be different weights over the axles and such like but do they fit? All i need to know is will the definately fit the fabia? Cheers guys, Adrian P.s. anyone changed a wheel bearing on a VRS themselves before? if so is it an easy or hard job?
